CIVICS: We wil be finishing up our study of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The first of March we will analyze the rights, duties, and responsibilities of citizens, and citizenship requirements.
Homework Assignments - A weekly homework assignment is to watch/read for 15 minutes the national news. The students recieve a sheet to record each night and get a parent signature. This paper will be turned in each Monday and the students will recieve a new sheet for the week.
* Students should check the board each day and write their assignment in their agenda.*
Students should review their notes each night even if there is not a written assignment. The students should also watch a national news broadcast each night to stay informed on political matters as well as government operations.
Test :
Bill of Rights test will be Thurs., March 4, 2010.
Class work activities and grades taken for these activities are done on a frequent basis. Review notes and materials studied each day, even when there is no assigned homework.
When you check you students grades on STI and the assignment is blank (no grade) that indicates the student was absent for that assignment. This ‘blank’ does not count against their grade. If there is a grade (0 to 100) then that is the score the student received on the assignment. Blank assignments can be made up for credit.
